Service Transition Manager

We are looking for a new Service Transition Manager who can effectively manage and control the quality, scope, timings and resources for the delivery of our ICT Solutions. You need to be a confident individual that can manage, control, organize and be accountable for all the deliverables from NTT Managed Services.

Job Role

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control the quality, scope, timings and resources for the delivery of ICT Solutions.
  • Lead the project within NTT MS. Act as the go-to person for a specific project within NTT MS.
  • Provide escalation for project issues to relevant business sponsors.
  • Organize internal follow-up meetings as well as participate in the follow-up calls with the local project manager.
  • Maintaining relationships and communication with the different stakeholders during the project life cycle.
  • Accountable for all the deliverables from NTT MS.
  • Produce project management documentation deliverables such as SoW, Gantt charts, Quality plans, etc. to a high standard.
  • Conform to quality and project standards set by NTT MS Management.
  • Effective management of the expectations of key stakeholders such as the Sales team and the Affiliate resources
  • Mentor less experienced members of the Service Delivery team in managing projects
  • Undertake reporting activities

Any other duties required by the Senior Management which is reasonably within the scope of this role.

Skills & Requirements

Skills (Essential):

  • Have a proven track record of managing large complex projects in the ITO environment or Service Integration Industries.
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
  • Experience in a customer service environment, with strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Conceptual understanding of IT technology, networking and the Internet.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project applications.
  • PMP or similar project management certifications.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and with other people.
  • Tenacious attention to detail and quality.

 Skills (Desirable): 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and project server
  • Technical experience of modern Internet hosting (Hardware, O/S, Networking)
  • Experience of working within a project office and/or program management
  • A background in Professional Services based engagement
